Current Availability

As of 13th May 2024, we currently have availability for all bookings which meet our minimum hire requirements (see below) in both Auckland and Christchurch for both campervan types.

We have limited availability for the EPIC+ in Christchurch in October and November.

We are seeing strong forward bookings for the 2024-25 summer season for both vans, and the EPIC+ in particular. We recommend booking soon to get the best rates since prices typically rise as we get closer to the summer.


Minimum Hire Lengths

Our minimum hire length varies between 8 and 21 days depending on: The time of year, what locations and which campervan type you want.

Winter: 15th May to 31st August

  • EPIC Original = 1 week / 8 day min (apart from Auckland to Christchurch route which has a 2 week / 15 day min)

  • EPIC+ = 10 day min (apart from Auckland to Christchurch route which has a 2 week / 15 day min)

Early Spring: 1st Sept to 15th October

  • 10 day minimum for both camper types (apart from Auckland to Christchurch route which has a 2 week / 15 day min)

Main season: 16th October to 31st March

  • EPIC Original = 2 week / 15 day min (2 week rental) except 20 Dec to 10 Jan which has an 18 day min hire

  • EPIC+ = 2 week / 15 day min, except 20 Dec to 15 Jan which has a 21 day min hire

Autumn: 1st April to 15th May

  • 10 day min for both camper types (apart from Auckland to Christchurch route which has a 2 week / 15 day min)

Exceptions when we have a gap

  • We can sometimes accomodate rentals that are a bit shorter than our minimums, where your dates fill a gap in our availability. If you’d like to check whether we can accomodate your dates please reply to your quote email and we’ll get back to you ASAP. If you can extend your trip to meet our minimum hire requirements, please get a new quote for those dates and complete the Request Booking form as soon as possible.

We pride ourselves on delivering exceptional service and so don’t like to spread ourselves too thin with lots of small hires. To date we have been completely booked up through the main summer season and given our relatively small fleet size, unfortunately we are unable to offer shorter hires than the minimums above. We appreciate your understanding.
