MINIMUM HIRE LENGTHS

Our minimum hire length varies between 8 and 21 days depending on the time of year and how your dates line up with our availability.

LOW SEASON: 16TH APR TO 15TH OCT

During the low season, our minimum hire is either 8 or 10 days depending on your specific dates, locations and camper type.

The only exception to this is for the Auckland to Christchurch route which has a 15 day minimum hire due to being the most popular.

If your trip falls within our main season and is less than 10 days, please reply to your quote email to check availability.

MAIN SEASON: 16TH OCT TO 15TH APR

During the main season (excluding super peak season dates below), our minimum hire is either 10 or 15 days depending on your specific dates, locations and camper type.

If your dates happen to fill a gap in our bookings we can accept a shorter hire of 5-9 days. These gaps are typically listed on our availability page but it’s worth asking us either way.

SUPER PEAK SEASON: 20TH DEC TO 10TH JAN

The most popular time to travel in NZ is between 20th Dec and 10th Jan. During this period, our minimum hire length is either 15 or 21 days depending on your specific dates, locations and camper type.

If your dates happen to fill a gap in our bookings we can accept a shorter hire of 8-14 days. These gaps are typically listed on our availability page but it’s worth asking us either way.

If your trip starts within our super peak season and is less than 21 days, please reply to your quote email to check availability.

If you can extend your trip to meet our minimum hire requirements, please get a new quote for those dates and complete the Request Booking form as soon as possible.

We pride ourselves on being one of the best camper rental operators in NZ with over 130 5-star Google Reviews. Our relatively small fleet size means we find ourselves fully booked for the main season, and during the low season it’s not financially viable to take bookings below 8 days. For those reasons we are typically unable to accept shorter hires than the minimums listed above. We appreciate your understanding.
